53rd Grammy Awards

The 53rd Grammy Awards had already been announced last Wednesday, December 1, 2010.

Here are the nominees, didn’t expect to be nominated:

• Michael Jackson earned a posthumous Grammy nomination for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance for the song, “This Is It”.
• Adam Lambert earned a Grammy nomination for “This Is It” for the category, Best Male Pop Vocal Performance.
• Both Lady Gaga and Katy Perry earned Grammy nomination for “Bad Romance” and “Teenaged Dream” respectively. Both ladies earned Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.
• BeyoncĂ© Knowles a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for her live performance of “Halo”.
• Lady Gaga & BeyoncĂ© Knowles for Best Pop Vocal Performance for the song “Telephone”.
• Justin Bieber’s “My World 2.0”, Susan Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream”, Lady Gaga’s “The Fame Monster”, and Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” were all nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album.
• Justin Bieber is nominated for Best New Artist.
• The Glee Cast earned a Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocals Grammy nomination for “Don’t Stop Believin’” for the Regionals.
• The album, “Glee: The Music Volume 1” for a Grammy nomination called Best Compilation Soundtrack Album for Motion Picture, Television, or Other Visual Media.
• The music videos, “Love The Way You Lie (Explicit Version)” (Eminem * Rihanna), “F*** You (Cee Lo Green)”, “Bad Romance (Lady Gaga)” earned the Best Short Form Music Video Grammy nomination.
• Cee Lo Green’s “F*** You” earned other Grammy nominations: Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Urban/Alternative Performance.
